Why I started Quietivity
I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce myself and share the story behind Quietivity.
In 2016, I hit rock bottom, was battling depression, and I felt completely lost.
There were days I didn’t want to be here anymore. Life felt dark, heavy, and hopeless, and I had no idea how to move forward.
One day, I picked up a notebook and took myself to a coffee shop. I started writing. No plan or structure, just letting all the pain and confusion pour out onto the page.
That created a small ritual for me: sitting with a candle and journaling became my lifeline.
It helped me breathe. It helped me slow down and find some peace in the chaos. And over time, it helped me heal.
That’s where Quietivity began.
I create simple tools to help other people find moments of stillness, clarity, and calm. Especially when life feels overwhelming.
